I’ll definitely share the pics! I decided to combine your recipe and Roti Brown’s sweetcorn focaccia recipe. I prepped the corn earlier and almost fell to my knees when I tasted it with my honey lol! This is my first time trying focaccia with a sourdough starter, so fingers crossed 🤞🏾
I posted the recipe for my Sovereign’s Honey in my last post and after that full moon, I’m so glad I made it. I got so many downloads about anger and vulnerability and the honey helps the medicine go down a lil sweeter!
The continual disconnection from our roots (at every level of the figurative), plays out in a continuing loss of knowledge+practice about food and how to cook (develop) it. The deference to (corporatized) conveniences kinda takes away the value of slowkey...
Everytime I hear of migrant/aggro harvest workers/families going hungry or going out of pocket, WHILE food waste at retail passes 40%, makes me alarmed that they're aren't reserve programs, doled out from said harvest. Every 10 for retail, 1 for workers, even... But I get it - it's been bought already/is accounted for/is slated for retail sale...
